Doris Moore Stewart

Doris Moore Stewart, age 73, of Clermont, GA passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

Doris was born on June 4, 1946 to Carl and Pauline Whitfield Moore.  She graduated from North Habersham High School in 1964.  She worked in the textile industry for 30 years before retiring.  She was a dearly loved sister, mom, and grandmother.  She loved to watch Nascar races, work puzzle books, and play bingo. 

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Frank) Boggs of Clermont, Scott Lovell of Clarkesville, and Jeff (Sundi) Lovell of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Anthony Lovell of Athens,  A.J. (Tiffany)Lovell of Demorest, Kayla (Brandon) Leverette of Jefferson, Meagan Lovell of Lavonia, Jonathan and Robyn Boggs of Clermont; and great-grandsons Evan and Bryan Leverette of Jefferson.  In addition, Doris will be remembered by her brothers, Gene (Gladys) Moore of Lowery and Jeff (Sharon) Moore of Turnerville; her sisters, Margaret Loudermilk, Francis (Albert)Hudson of Mt. Airy, and Joyce Owens of Gainesville; as well as numerous neices and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2019 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Rev. Kevin Woody and Chris Bryant will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, December 12, 2019, and from 12 Noon until service time on Friday, December 13.
