Robert “Bob” Victor Pritula, 73, of Atlanta, GA, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born June 12, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Victor Pritula and Norma (Depoe) Pritula.
Funeral services for Bob will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, at Ingram Funeral & Crematory 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040. The burial will follow soon after at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040.
Friends are encouraged to attend the viewing from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home. A reception will also follow, at Tam’s Backstage 215 Ingram Avenue, Cumming GA 30040 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Bob graduated from the University of Michigan with a Masters of Accounting degree and was an accountant for over 30 years at Eagle-Pritchett and Equifax. He retired more than 15 years ago and enjoyed spending time with wife, his children, and grandchildren whenever he could. He was an avid tennis player and an active member of the NRA. He spent most of his weekends watching Michigan football and building model ships. He also enjoyed reading, actively participating in news blogs, and shooting at the range.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Karen Pritula; along with 5 children, Nicole Williams and her husband Bryan of Frisco, TX, Susan Ward and her husband Mark of Thompson Station, TN, Amy Dickens and her husband Paul of Katy, TX, Aaron Seiter and his wife Sara of Atlanta, GA, Robert Pritula and his wife Carroll of North Tustin, CA; and eight grandchildren, Haley Gomoljak, Hannah Ward, Patrick and Erin Williams, Charley and Christopher Dickens, Hudson and Easton Seiter; and one great grandson John Gomoljak; his twin sister Sharon Banzhaf of Asheville, NC, his brother Jim Pritula of Anna, TX and his sister Sue Davis of Phoenix, AZ.
