Marcus Eugene Shadburn

Marcus Eugene Shadburn, 82, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday December 4, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 7, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Rev. Joel Shadburn, Rev. Charles Shadburn and Rev. Morris Shadburn will officiate.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday December 6, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Shadburn was born in Cumming Ga. on March 28, 1937 to the late John Elbert and Dahlia Vaughan Shadburn.  He was the owner of Shadburn Concrete.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Troy, Joe, Dan, LaFayette and Glendon and sisters, Letha Heard, Evelyn Smith, Kathleen Heard, Christine Pirkle and Mary Shadburn. Mr. Shadburn is survived by his wife, JoAnn Stribling Shadburn of Gainesville, Sons and Daughters-in-law: Michael and Cami Shadburn of Flowery Branch and Steve and Joan Shadburn of Clermont, Daughter, Stacey Shadburn-Hicks of Flowery Branch, Grandchildren: Seth, Brittany, Ashley, Colby, Cali, Derek, Mark, Anna, Dylan, Alexandra, Barrett, Camille, Cody, Matthew and 4 Great Grandchildren: Morgan, Leyton, Mason, Jake: Sister: Viola Pirkle of Oakwood and Sister-in-law, Grace Shadburn of Talmo
