Barbara Hutton Duffee

Barbara Hutton Duffee, age 86, of Suwanee, Ga., passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Walter Duffee, Suwanee; children, Kim and Doug Nichols, Buford, GA, Michael and Cindy Powell, Lawrenceville, GA, Kelly and Jim Dotson, Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Andrew and Daniela Nichols, Brooke and Eric Charron, Jennifer and Joe Ivey, Christopher Powell, Cody Dotson, Will Dotson; seven great grandchildren; sister, Kathy Pierce, Gainesville, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles  Hutton, Morehead City, NC, Tommy Hutton, Chappaqua, NY, Douglas and Barbara Duffee, Oakwood, GA, and Deborah Duffee, Gainesville, GA; two step grandchildren, Mandy and Will Barnett, and Christopher Duffee; and two step great grandchildren.

Mrs. Duffee was born on February 25, 1933 in Greensboro, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina, and was a retired realtor from Caswell Realty. Mrs. Duffee was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, and a member of Junior League in North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Dale officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA Foundation in memory of Barbara Duffee.
