Maude Parker Burrell

Maude Parker Burrell, age 89, of Dacula, GA passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Doug Hall; parents, Milford and Samantha Parker; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Burrell is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Lyman F Burrell, Dacula; sons, Sam Burrell, Dacula, Marilyn Hall, Buford, GA, Jeff Burrell, Dacula, and David (Jing) Burrell, Suwanee, GA; six grandchildren, Shannon Doty, Dacula, GA, Greg Burrell, Dacula, Troy and Deshja Hall, Montclair, NJ, Trent Hall, Lake Worth, FL, Rachel Burrell, Suwanee, Ethan Burrell, Suwanee; two great grandchildren, Mareau Hall and Thaura Hall, both of Montclair, NJ; sister, Margie Burton, Charleston, WV; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Burrell was born in Rabun County, GA on March 9, 1930, and she graduated from the high school there.  For the past twenty-six years she has resided in Dacula, GA. Mrs. Burrell was a retired realtor, where she had a career for three decades.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Buford, and a member of the Upper Room Sunday School class. “During her lifetime, her greatest joy was her family.” Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiating. Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
