Eural Eugene Euratis “Gene” Adams Jr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Eural Eugene Euratis “Gene” Adams Jr., age 84 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest on Wednesday November 27, 2019.  Mr. Adams was born in Orlando, Florida, the son of the late Eural Eugene Euratis Sr. and Emma Stallin Adams.  Mr. Adams served in the United States Army as a Helicopter  Pilot,  retiring with the rank of Lieutenant  Colonel. Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and daughter, Kim Brookshire.

Survivors include his wife Marie Petty Adams of Jefferson, son, Pete Adams and his wife Kathy of Jefferson, son, Wayne Adams of Jefferson, son, Steve Adams and his wife Tammy of Gainesville, and daughter, Sandy, and her husband Eddie of Jefferson, son in law, Wade Brookshire of Pendergrass.  Fourteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 29, 2019 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revered Eric Shelton Officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens with full Military Honors. The Family will receive friends, 1:00 - 3:00 P. M. Friday, prior to the service at the Funeral home.
