Judy Gaye Pearson Hensley

Judy Gaye Pearson Hensley, age 70, of Clermont, Georgia passed away November 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.A. and Judy Pearson and brother, James Davis. She is survived and will be missed by her husband, Dennis Hensley and her dog, Kate; three stepchildren, Dennis (Christie) Hensley of Charleston, SC; Ryan (Cassi) Hensley of Charlotte, NC; and Dana (John) Quarles of Columbia, SC; 3 grandchildren, Reese, Julie and Izzy. 

She had a rewarding and self-fulfilling career managing horse farms and equestrian centers. During her spare time, she won multiple ribbons and trophies showing her horses. She also loved training her Border Collies to be stock dogs. 

Following her wishes, there will be a private funeral on Friday, November 29, where she will be laid to eternal rest with her parents in Tiger, Georgia. There will be a small gathering at her home in Clermont to celebrate her life and her passion for her horses and dogs. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can make donations to your local SPCA or your local not-for-profit animal shelter.
