George Franklin Baskin

George Franklin Baskin, age 85, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Monday, November 18, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Frances Dianne Baskin, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Michael Baskin, Chattanooga, TN, Ellen Baskin, Atlanta, GA, Jim Lord, Winder, GA, Marcia Edgil, Oakwood, GA; four grandchildren.   Mr. Baskin was born August 19, 1934 in Memphis, TN.  He received his education in Memphis, TN and retired from Readers Digest after thirty-three years of service.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of George F. Baskin.
