Bethel Wilson

Bethel Wilson age 82 of Lula passed away Friday November 22, 2019 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Wilson was born in Lula on January 5, 1937 to the late Oliver & Elsie Baugh Wilson. He was retired from Wayne Farms as a truckdriver and was a member of Whitehall Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford Wilson.

Survivors include, Geraldine Miller Wilson; daughter, Judy Reeves; grandchildren, Jill (Scott) Hewell, Robert (Ashley) Chambers & Mary Allen; great grandchildren, Haley & Ella Hewell, Josey & Sawyer Chambers, Brenya & Logan Wigley & Arya Houston; brothers, J.C. Wilson, Hoyt Wilson & James Wilson; sisters, Clara Chambers, Nancy Browning, Darlene Seymour & Joann Jones. A number of nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W.A. Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home.
