Larry Paul Davis, Sr.

Mr. Larry Paul Davis, Sr. age 70 of Gillsville, Ga passed away on Wednesday November 20, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.  

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday November 23, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Kent Barrett, Reverend Scott Waters, and Reverend Darryl Womack will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday November 22, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Larry was born on November 11, 1949 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Junior Davis and Dorothy Davis. He was retired from Simpson Trucking where he worked as a superintendent and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.  

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Glenda Rudeseal Davis of Gillsville, daughter, Ashley Davis of Gillsville, and son, Larry Paul Davis, Jr. of Gillsville.
