Rev. Siam “Si” Rogers

Rev. Siam “Si” Rogers, age 53, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Jenny Rogers, Sugar Hill, GA; children, Tazman Rogers, Milton, FL, Jorden Rogers, Sugar Hill, GA, Ashlyn Rogers, Sugar Hill, GA, Sierra Rogers, Sugar Hill, GA, Brea and Peyton Witt, Decatur, GA, Corben Rogers, Sugar Hill, GA, Sebastian Rogers, Sugar Hill, GA; grandson, Elijah Witt, Decatur, GA; mother, Wanna Frantz, Ottumwa, IA; father, Larry Rogers, Des Moines, IA; brother, Chaiaadan Rogers, Ottumwa, IA; aunts, uncles, four nieces, five nephews, cousins.  Mr. Rogers was born October 31, 1966 in Fort Dodge, IA.  He was a 1985 graduate of Fort Dodge High School.  Mr. Rogers attended Iowa Central College and Luther Rice Seminary.  Mr. Rogers was raised in the Methodist church.  He was employed with GA Public Web as a network control operations for the past ten years.  He was a member of Gwinnett Church and served with North America Mission Board.  Mr. Rogers worked for Campus Crusade for Christ and was a volunteer with Red Cross.  He served at North Metro Baptist as a deacon, pastor prayer partner, choir member and Sunday School Teacher.  Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Gwinnett Church, Sugar Hill, GA,  with Minister Mark Isham and Pastor Jeff Struecker officiating,  The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25^th at the Church, where he will lie in state.
