Mary Frances Turk

Mary Frances Turk, 95, of Gainesville passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at New Horizons Lanier Park.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Vandergriff will officiate. Interment will follow In Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on August 9, 1924 in Flowery Branch, Mrs. Turk was the daughter of the late Clifton Beard and Mary Orr Loggins. She was retired from Sears where she was a sales rep. Mrs. Turk was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turk Is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Turk; son and daughter in law, Troy and Latricia Turk; son, Dwayne Turk; sister, Ada Loggins and great granddaughter, Alicia Mote.

Mrs. Turk is survived by her grandchildren, Tonya and Thomas Varnadore, Troy and Tin Turk, II, Jennifer and James Mote, Jessica Blackwell and Sammantha and Jessie Satterfield; daughter in law, Phyllis Turk; 14 great grandchildren, Trenton Varnadore, Emily Varnadore, Angel Welch, Thomas Varnadore III, Anthony Mote, Dylan Mote Zachery Mote, Ashley Mote, Lushen Satterfield, Christopher Spence, Jase Blackwell, Christina Perez, Jennifer Mary Blackwell, Johnny Blackwell; 11 great-great grandchildren and 2 nieces.
