Frankie Jean Porter

Frankie Jean Porter age 83 of Gainesville passed away Monday November 18, 2019 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Porter was born in Cleveland, Georgia on June 16, 1936 to the late Frank& Katie Welch Palmer. She was retired from Mooney’s Furniture and was of the holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Porter, Grandsons, Brandon Franklin & Shane Maney; brothers, Ervin Palmer & Fred Palmer; sisters, Vernice Ramey, Evelyn Palmer & Flonnie Williams.

Survivors include, sons, Kenneth Franklin, Marcus (Tracy) Franklin & Ronnie Franklin; daughters, Connie Porter, Joann Palmer & Kathy Gunter; brothers, J.W. Palmer, Leon Palmer, Kenneth Palmer & Ray Palmer; sisters, Kay Ann Hardy & Debbie Gerrin; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces & nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
