Doris Patricia Pickett

Mrs. Doris Patricia Pickett, age 81, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Bell-Minor Nursing Center, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pickett was born February 9, 1938 to the late George Henry & Velma Louise Kindle in McKinney, Texas.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Pickett is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Lee Garner & Janet Hauth of Flowery Branch; son, Bruce Garner of Flowery Branch; daughter & son-in-law, Stacy & Eli Whitfield of Bethlehem; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy James Pickett; daughter, Tammi Sue Garner; brothers, Jr Kindle, Dub Kindle, Earl Kindle and Charles Kindle; and sisters, Helen Murrell and Mildred Earnst.
