Barney Edward Thomas, 88 of Clermont, GA, passed away on November 3rd, 2019 surrounded by family. Barney was born on September 28, 1931 in Union County, GA. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Alpharetta Masonic Lodge #235. Barney was retired from GM, Doraville, and has been farming since his retirement.
Barney is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Boyd and Lavonia, and his brother O’Neal. He is survived by his wife, Mary S. Grier Thomas; Sons & Wives, Jeff & Sandra, Tim & Peggy; Grandchildren, Zachary & Evan Thomas, Mike Myers, and Nicole & Chad Marcussen; Great Grandchildren, Hayden, Collier and Rowan; Brothers, Bonnell, Jerry, Buddy, Sammy, Herman, Kenneth, and Robin; Sisters, Jimmie Ruth, Jackie, and Pat; and a multitude of brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
