Agnes Bennett

Agnes Bennett, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Fletcher Bennett; and grandchildren, Katie Bennett and Joshua Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Faye Bennett Garrett, Loganville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Decie Bennett, Oakwood, GA; Jerry and Connie Bennett, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Chad Garrett, Buford, GA, Craig and Silvia Garrett, Cleveland, GA, Gabe and Anna Bennett, Sautee, GA, Damon and Shawna Bennett, Flowery Branch, GA, Dylan and Lindsey Bennett, Oakwood, GA, Chesley and Hannah Pye, Buford, GA, Ashley and Chris Thrasher, Buford, GA, Jared and Brooke Bennett, Auburn, GA; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Bennett was born on June 24, 1930 in Buford, GA and attended Buford High School. She was a retired cafeteria worker from Gwinnett Public School System. She was a longtime member of Harmony Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Satterfield and Rev. Farrell Presley officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
