Brenda Burnette Gillis

Mrs. Brenda Burnette Gillis age 74 of Hwy 106 passed away October 30, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.

A daughter of the late Odell and Mildred Lusk Burnette, she was born May 26, 1945 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Franklin County. She worked for Publix for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, hardworking, zealous and spirited. She was preceded in death by her son Joey Todd Harrison, brother Joe Burnette and sister Faye Fitzpatrick.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Jill and Billy Ford of Braselton, Georgia, son and girlfriend William Clay Harrison and Paige Eckles of Toccoa, grandchildren Chancey Gallaway, Jacob Harrison, Maxwell Ford, Camden Ford, and Garett Ford, brothers Bill Burnette of Tecatur, Illionis and Ray Burnette of Toccoa, sisters Linda Barrett of Martin, Pam Cox of Salt Springs, Florida and Autumn Garrett of Dahlonega.

Memorial services will be held Saturday November 2, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 A.M. til service time.
