Kent F. Morgan

Kent F. Morgan age 62 of Gillsville passed away Wednesday Oct. 30, 2019 at his residence after suffering with congestive heart failure.

Kent was born November 14, 1956 in Commerce, Georgia to the late Clyde & Robbie Wiley Morgan. He was retired from Baldor and was a member of Gillsville Baptist Church. All who knew and loved him know that he enjoyed all things outdoors including hunting, fishing, & camping. In his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, canning & trying out new recipes; but nothing more than spending time with his beloved wife and precious children & grandchildren. Kent was preceded in death by his brother & sister in law, Milton & Mary Morgan.

Survivors include, wife of 42 years, Janice House Morgan; daughters & sons in law, Jessica & Junior Lance & Lindsey & Matt Taibl; grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler & Kelsey Lance & Kate & Bruce Taibl; brother & sister in law, Chris & Patty Morgan. A number of nieces & nephews and a host of other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Ward’s Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
