John C. Upchurch

John C. “Johnny” Upchurch, Jr., age 63, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019. 

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Upchurch, Sugar Hill, GA; parents, John C. and Shirley Upchurch, Sr., Athens, GA; sister, Stacy Russell, Cumming, GA; nieces, Jessica Pope, Athens, GA, Ansley Sanderson, Athens, GA; two great nieces. 

Mr. Upchurch was born July 31, 1956 in Athens, GA.  He retired from the City of Sugar Hill, and loved the city of Sugar Hill, GA.  Mr. Upchurch loved golf, sports and was an avid bulldog fan. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating.  Family will received friends 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, November, 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
