Mildred Nix Bellamy

Mrs. Mildred Nix Bellamy, age 81, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at her residence.  Mrs. Bellamy was born in Gainesville to the late Gower and Monteen Wood Nix.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was retired from Blue Bell.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bellamy was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Luther Bellamy.

Mrs. Bellamy is survived by her son, Philip Bellamy of Griffin; daughter, Karen Sears of Carnesville; sister, Linda Jackson of Orlando, FL; and grandson, Dustin Sears of Carnesville.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Friday, November 1 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. James Duncan and Rev. Brenson Jennings officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5 to 8 PM.
