Molly "Jeanette" Willie

Mrs. Molly “Jeanette” Willie, age 70, of Hoschton passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Chaplain Ron Guess will officiate.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Willie was born January 7, 1949 to the late Elgie & Mary Davis in Bartow, Georgia.  Growing up in Jefferson County, Georgia she was an adventurous child.  Moving around with her husband as he served in the United States Navy and worked for the railroad, she lived in several states: Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, Texas, Kentucky and Ohio.  In 2006 she finally moved back to her beloved Georgia upon retiring from Macy’s, where she had been the cosmetics counter manager for Clinique.  Her favorite things over the years included: competitive shooting; going to yard sales, where she had an exquisite eye and best luck finding beautiful furniture; and cooking recipes passed down from her mother, and in turn passed on to her beloved granddaughter.

Mrs. Willie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Johnny Willie of Hoschton; sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Jennifer M. Willie of Hoschton and Keith & Jennifer S. Willie of Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Samantha Willie; siblings, Cecil Davis of Louisville, Virginia Pruitt of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, J.E. & Frankie Davis of Louisville and Terisa & Lee Hopkins of Evans; sisters-in-law, Ethel Davis of Louisville and Alice Davis of Louisville; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
