JoAnne L. Davenport

JoAnne L. Davenport, 79, of Hiawassee passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Reardon officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on February 1, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Ervin Ledford and Georgia Lee McIntyre. She was retired from Abbey J. Lee, D.D.S. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davenport is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Betty Keith and Jerri Rich.

Mrs. Davenport is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cindy D. and Mike Williams of Hiawassee; son and daughter in law, Greg and Dana Davenport of Flowery Branch; grandson and wife, Derek and Misty Williams; granddaughters, Jennifer Williams, Ansley Davenport; great grandson, Maddox Williams; sister, Peggy Reardon (Mike); brothers, Coy Ledford, Ronnie McIntyre.
