Warren Glenn Stephens passed away on October 15, 2019. He was born January 3, 1949 in Atlanta.
Growing up he love the peace and tranquility of the outdoors, but backpacking, rock climbing, camping, fishing, and anything involving the smoky mountains were his favorites. He also cherished long drives to nowhere, an occasional casino trip, and Budweiser. He retired from CSX Transportation as a conductor but held many different titles with the company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Holly M Stephens and Paul Stephens; his brother, Perry Scott.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan W. Stephens; Daughter-in-law, Kadisha Montanez; his best friend and companion, his Doberman Sarge; two grandchildren Payton Stephens and Justin Sweat; sister-in-law Reba Scott; and nephew Lee Scott; As well as many others he called friends including his railroad family. His character and his personality were definitely one of a kind and he is going to be missed terribly by all those he loved and touched.
