Dorothy Helen Moore

Dorothy Helen Moore, 80, of Stockbridge passed away, Wednesday, October 16, 2019 following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be in Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cedartown, GA.

Born on December 8, 1938 in Columbus, GA she was the daughter of the late Aldean and Edna Elliott. She was a self-employed hairdresser and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her brothers, Houston Elliott, William “Bill” Elliott, Ray Elliott; daughter, Susan Weaver and grandson Samuel “Sam” Kessler.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Jerome D. Moore of Stockbridge; daughter and son in law, Lori and Jeff Soracco of Oakwood; grandchildren, Rachel and Nicolas Soracco of Oakwood; daughter and son in law Stacy and Phil Scheidweiler of Kettering, OH; grandchild, Morgan Kessler of Kettering, OH
