Mary Shoemake

Obituary Date: Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Mrs. Mary Shoemake, 79 of Braselton, Ga. passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Margie Dean Fricks.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Shoemake was preceded in death by her husband, Winford “Toby” Shoemake, Jr.; sons, Charles Anthony “Tony” Shoemake and Tommy Lee Shoemake; brother, Larry Fricks; and sister, Hilda LaFountain.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Taylor of Braselton; sisters, Girldan Gibbs of Duluth, Barbara Bagwell and Sherry Gowen, both of Chestnut Mountain; brother, Gary Fricks of Homer; grandchildren, Winfred Dunagan, Candace Young, David Anthony Shoemake, Nicole Laurie, Cameron Shoemake, and Robert Taylor; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, 12:00-2:00 p.m.
