Josephine King

Josephine Samantha Goodwin King, age 62, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away October 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin King, parents, Mark & Lucile Goodwin, and sisters, Joann Silvers, Jean Smith, & Mae Lingerfelt. Mrs. King, a member of Four Mile Baptist Church, loved her bible and church.

She is survived by her step children; Jimmy & Diane King, of Sugar Hill, GA, Amy & Dustin Swett, of Dawsonville, brothers & sisters; Marcus & Essie Goodwin, of Ball Ground, GA, Hazel & Boody Wehunt, of Ball Ground, GA, Billy Goodwin, of Ball Ground, GA, Mary Alice Goodwin, of Cumming, GA, James Goodwin, of Cumming, GA, Deana Lingerfelt, of Cumming, GA, Dyan & Ronald Allen, of Cumming, grandchildren; Peyton King, Ashley King, Megan King, Charlie Smith, Alex Payne and great granddaughter, Kinleigh Smith.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery in Ball Ground, GA with Rev. Bryan Goodwin & Rev. Danny Baker officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
