Ruby Worley Standridge

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Ruby Worley Standridge, age 84, of Athens, formerly of Jefferson, Georgia, who entered into rest Wednesday, October 9, 2019.  Mrs. Standridge was born in Commerce, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ruben O. and Carrie Lee Davidson Worley.  Mrs. Standridge was retired from Wilkins Industries and later from Walmart where she worked at the jewelry counter, and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Standridge is preceded by her husband; Harold Standridge and a son, Dwight Standridge.

Survivors include a son, Deryl Standridge of Hartwell.  Sisters, Myrtle Lawson and Mildred Green, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless loved ones along with caretaker and niece, Shari and Lawrence Taylor.

Graveside memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 13, 2019 from the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ross Wheeler officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside.
