Virginia Loggins

Virginia Loggins age 93 of Gainesville passed away Thursday Oct. 10, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Loggins was born May 9, 1926 in Gainesville to the late Lafayette & Isabelle Whitfield Brookshire. She was retired from produce department at J & J Foods with 20 years of service. She was of the holiness faith and was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Loggins.

Survivors include, son & daughter in law, Ken & Kathy Loggins of Murrayville, daughter, Margaret Thomas of Gainesville, daughters & sons in law, Eloise & Tony Thomas of Alto, Elaine & Wayne Turpin of Gillsville; special sister in law, Thelma Sosebee of Auburn, AL; 5 generations of grandchildren with a large number of them surviving.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Griffin & Rev. David Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home.
