Milton C. Ferguson

Milton C. Ferguson, age 72, of Cornelia, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019.

Born on January 7, 1947, in Cornelia, he was a son of the late Roy and Clyde Colbert Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson retired from the United States Postal Service in Baldwin as a Rural Mail Carrier. He enjoyed gardening, mechanics, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Cornelia Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Burke Ferguson.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Goss Ferguson of Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Chuck Armour of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Sloane and Breann Ferguson of Commerce; grandchildren: Erin (Seth) Roberts, Emily (Kelvin) Roberts, Reagen Ferguson, and Logan Ferguson; great-grandchildren: Mattilyn, Sadie, and Lacey; and brother, Dennis Ferguson of Cornelia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Benfield, Rev. Scott Ledbetter, and Rev. Jacob Armour officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the funeral home.
