Sidney Helen McCoy Massey

Mrs. Sidney Helen McCoy Massey, age 91, of Marietta, GA died Monday, September 30, 2019 at The Pearl at Dallas.  Mrs. Massey was born in Homer to the late Hoyt and Burruss Gailey McCoy.  She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Massey who died a few hours earlier at The Pearl at Dallas.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Smalley of Marietta; sons, Dean Massey of Bainbridge and Don Massey of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Nan Brown of Commerce, Jimmie Banks of Commerce, Mary Gilerstat of Atlanta and Jean Cook of Breman; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Thursday, October 3 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Manus officiating.  Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10 to 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, 942 East Ridgeway Road, Commerce, GA 30529.
