Mark Steven Pitts

Mr. Mark Steven Pitts age 64 of Danielsville died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at Athens Piedmont Hospital of an extended illness.

He was the son of the late Troy Vernon Pitts and Nora Bell Taylor Pitts of Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Survivors in addition to his mother are his wife Teresa G. Pitts of the home, his stepmother, RuElan Pitts of Binnington, OK; 3 sons, Paul Johnson of Danielsville, Jonathan Pitts of Milledgeville, and Nathan Pitts of Danielsville, 2 daughters Shianna Pitts of Commerce and Erica Johnson of Martinsburg, West Virginia, a brother, Matt Pitts of California; and a sister, Vickie Simon, of Flordia; 1 grandchild also survives.

Funeral services will be held 12 pm Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019 at Danielsville Baptist Church. The body will lie in state 10 am until time of service Wednesday. Burial will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
