Christopher Peyton Hoffman, Jr.

Christopher Peyton Hoffman, Jr., 37 of Gainesville passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Bell, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on September 2, 1982 he was the son of Christopher Peyton Hoffman, Sr. and the late Lydia Jane Patterson Hoffman. He was employed as service manager of North Ga Propane and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Hoffman is preceded in death by his stepmother, Sandy Lawrence Hoffman and grandfather, Elbert Bud Hoffman.

Mr. Hoffman is survived by his wife, Joanne Hoffman; son, Caleb Miller; daughter, Melanie Miller; father, Christopher Peyton Hoffman, Sr.; sister and brother in law, Autumn and Chad Savage; sister, Samantha Dawn Baker; nephew, Chance Savage; grandmother, Sandra J. Hoffman “Nanny Goat”; aunts and uncles, Sundi Lawrence and Jeff Lovell, Thurmond and Donna Patterson, Wayne and Carol Patterson, Linda Callahan and several cousins.
