Betty Ann Smith Osborne

Mrs. Betty Ann Smith Osborne age 89 of Toccoa passed away Thursday September 26, 2019 at Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Riley David and Essie Burgess Smith, she was born September 11, 1930 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all of her life. She retired from Coats and Clark and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Osborne in 2019.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law R.D. “Bulldog” and Sandra Smith of Toccoa, nieces and nephews Dale and Janine Dover, Eddie and Susan Dover, David and Robin Westmoreland, Sherry and Doug Thompson, Janet Conner and Keith Smith.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Stacey Penland officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 P.M. til service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Gerald Turner, Oscar Barrett and Titus Penland.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorials Gardens.
