Anna Ruth Robbins Smith

Anna Ruth Robbins Smith, age 87 of Winder, GA, died Monday September 23, 2019.  Anna was preceded in death by her husband Roger Smith.  She is survived by her children, Alan Smith and wife Laurie, Walterboro, SC; Adria Smith Berry and husband Kenny, Flowery Branch, GA; Dana Samples and husband Van, Buford, GA; 8 grandchildren, Stephanie Shaw, Leslie Burke, Christopher Smith, Hope Honea, Caleb Samples, Ben Smith, Meagan Stoner, Cullen Smith; 11 great grandchildren, Roger Knox Honea, Willa Marie Honea, Jordan Andrew Shaw, Katie Lynn Shaw, Maddox Nathaniel Stoner, Finnley Jensen Stoner, Gibson Benjamin Smith, Savannah Mae Petty, Audrey Lane Burke, Brody O’Neill Burke, Landon Hudson Burke; brother, Max Robbins of Livingston, TN; sister, Linda Bianchi of Gainesville, GA; several nieces and nephews. Anna was born in Livingston Tennessee on September 2, 1932.  She moved to Georgia in 1965. She was married to Roger Smith for 59 years. Anna worked as a nurse and enjoyed painting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Presbyterian Christ Church in Alpine, Tennessee on October 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
