Lore Schnell

Mrs. Lore Ingeborg Hoehn Schnell, age 81 of Harris Street, Toccoa passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude Keller Hoehn, she was born March 3, 1938 in Tiefenbach, Germany having lived a greater part of her life in Toccoa. She was retired from Belk with 30 years of service and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Hans Schnell of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Sonja and David Broderick of Greenville, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Alexis and Jayden; several siblings in Germany.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 28, 2019, 11 O’clock a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Thad Rudd officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church (Building Fund), 231 Rothell Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mrs. Lore Schnell.
