Grace A. Leonard

Mrs. Grace A. Leonard age 92 of Gainesville passed away on Saturday September 21, 2019 at Autumn Breeze Assisted Living following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday September 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro, Ga.

Grace was born on March 22, 1927 in Bryant, Alabama to the late Herbert Grant and Helen Scudder Grant. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was retired from Jonesboro Junior High School where she worked as a lunchroom director. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Irby Garland Leonard.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill Leonard (Lisa) of Winder, son and daughter-in-law, Gary Leonard (Sharon) of Locust Grove, sister, Martha Lou Gallagher of Alabama, sister, Ann Higdon of Alabama, brother, Don Grant of Chattanooga, TN, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
