Wayne Russell Baker

Wayne Russell Baker, 61, of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in the chapel of memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Ellis and Rev. Al Waltz will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 24th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on May 28, 1958 he was a lifetime resident of Hall County. He was the son of the late Robbie and Elizabeth Pirkle Baker. He is retired from the construction industry having worked for Jones Building.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baker is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Baker, Gus Baker and sister, Joyce Baker.

Mr. Baker is survived by his son, Scotty Baker of Cumming, daughter, Tiffany of Cumming; sister and brother in law, Ann and Eddie Jones of Gainesville; fiancé, Cheryl Knapp of Gainesville and 2 grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
