Jack Crawford

Jack Reginald Crawford, born on February 19, 1924, died peacefully at home on September 15, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Alvina B. Crawford, and his brother Bill Crawford of Jacksonville FL.  He is the father of four children, Cheryl Aronson, Patti Crawford, Diane Stapler and Dale Crawford.  He is a grandfather of five and a great-grandfather of two.  Jack was born in Phoenix City, AL, and went on to serve in the Army in WWII, where he became the recipient of the Purple Heart.  He met and married his wife in Miami FL, and they raised their family there and lived for many decades.  They moved to Dacula GA 30 years ago, where they have enjoyed their retirement and family.  Jack was an amazing father and husband, a great American and a Patriot.  A memorial service will be held at Buford Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28th, with Rev. Davis Bailey officiating.
