Ronald Edward Harley, 82, of Sautee-Nacoochee, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at The Oaks at Limestone.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Gene O’Kelley and Mr. Ronald E. Harley, Jr. will officiate. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park on Monday, September 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Born on January 21, 1937 in East Liverpool, OH, he was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Evelyn Brooks Harley. He was retired having been a Plant Maintenance Superintendent and an Industrial Electrician. Mr. Harley was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Glemore Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harley is preceded in death by his sisters, Carol Harley and Linda Harley.
Mr. Harley is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Harley of Sautee-Nacoochee; daughter, Suzanne Harley Thomas (Mark Anthony Thomas of Gainesville; son, Ronald Edward Harley, Jr. (Melinda) of Cochran, GA; son, Bowen Harley (Teresa) of Mtn. City, TN; brother in law and sister in law, Gene and Martha O’Kelley of Clermont; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, three nieces; six nephews and other family and friends.
