John Samuel Gordon

John Samuel Gordon, 39, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Rhodes and Rev. Kevin Jarrard officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on May 20, 1980 in Gainesville, he was the son of David Brian and Deborah Cannon Gordon. He was a mechanic for Duncan Automotive and a member of Grace Community Church in Dawsonville.

Mr. Gordon is preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. Billy Cannon and grandparents, Lee and Dorothy Gordon.

Mr. Gordon is survived by his parents, Brian and Deborah Gordon; brother, David Gordon; grandmother, Dorothy Cannon; aunt, Janice (Danny) Sewell; uncle, Danny (Sharon) Cannon all of Gainesville and a number of cousins.
