Ernesto Santaclara Jimenez

Ernesto Santaclara Jimenez, age 47 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019.

Born in Cheran Michoacan, Mexico on May 05, 1972, he was a son of Magdalena Jimenez of Cheran Michoacan, Mexico & the late Pablo Santaclara. Ernesto, also known to his family as “Chicapan” worked as a welder with Kubota Manufacturing and was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. He enjoyed helping others, was a wonderful mechanic, a Classic Car Enthusiast, and the life of the party when he was with his family.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Julia Perez Hernandez, children, Jeanette Arlene Santaclara Perez, Pablo Ernesto Santaclara Perez, Ramona Juliet Santaclara Perez, all of Mt. Airy, GA; brothers, Felipe Santaclara Jimenez of Cornelia, GA; Pablo Santaclara Jimenez, Jorge Santaclara Jimenez, both of Arkansas; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Santaclara Jimenez, Leticia Santaclara Jimenez, both of Cornelia, GA; Lourdes Santaclara Jimenez of Cheran Michoacan, Mexico; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & many friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville with Father Fabio A. Alvarez Posada officiating. Interment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence beginning at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
