Ruby Watson

Ms. Ruby Watson was born on May 23, 1942 to the late Velma Nell Watson. Ruby worked for 20 years as a Gainesville City School Crossing Guard. She loved life, family, friends and always had a smile on her face. Ruby departed this life on Saturday, September 7, 2019. She will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her son Damon Gregory Watson; mother Velma Watson; sisters: Martha Watson, Gail Watson and her brother Stanley Watson. She leaves to cherish her memories her sisters: Ruth Watson (her beloved twin) of Gainesville, GA, Mary Watson of New York, Vicki Watson of Gainesville, GA, Lynn Watson of Knoxville, TN; brothers: Terrence Watson and Eric Watson of Gainesville, GA; special God daughter Blue Eyes; special friend Blondie Summerour and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Memorial Park Chapel at 12:00 noon. Interment will immediately follow at Alta Vista Cemetery, Gainesville. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
