Syble Rogers Strickland

Syble Rogers Strickland, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Myron Strickland and son-in-law, Chuck Russell.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Russell, Buford, GA and Phyllis and Rob Myers, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Chad Russell, Gainesville, GA, Tyler and Corinne Myers, Atlanta, GA,  Lee and Kayla Myers, Norcross, GA; great-grandchildren, Benny, Leo and James Myers; sister Carol and James Mabry and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Strickland was born January 4, 1936 in Lula, GA. She was a graduate of Clermont High School, Clermont, GA. She was a computer entry operator. Mrs. Strickland and her late husband were the former owners of Ownes Metro Tent Rental, Doraville, GA.  She was a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church, Johns Creek, GA.  Mrs. Strickland was an accomplished seamstress and loved knitting and enjoyed traveling in her spare time with family. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 with the Rev. David White officiating.  Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth, GA.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. before the service
