John Patrick Jordan

John Patrick Jordan, age 76, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. He is survived by his wife of fifty- three years, Sharon Lee Jordan, Buford, GA; daughter, Janet (Heath) Klingensmith, Clarkesville, TN; sister-in-law, Janet Sayers, Orland Park, IL.  Mr. Jordan was born December 7, 1942 in Chicago, IL. 

 He was a 1960 graduate of Brother Rice High School, Chicago, IL. and Saint Ambrose College. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army for eight years. Mr. Rice was a retired branch manager for United States Department of Education.  He was a member of the Buford American Legion Post 127 where he served on the finance board, member of the Gold Shields for Atlanta Police and a member of Hibernians Club for Irish. There will be no formal services.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Research Foundation P.O. Box 442 Needham, MA 02494 in memory John P. Jordan.  .
