Margaret McCollum

Mrs. Margaret Inez Petty McCollum, age 83 of Rock Creek Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Gainesville, Georgia.
 
A daughter of the late A.D. and Ada Davis Petty, she was born November 3, 1935 in Honoraville, Alabama having lived in Stephens County since 1972. She was a registered nurse having worked at the Stephens County Hospital and the Anderson Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loy McCollum in 2000.
 
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Loy and Melissa McCollum, Jr. of Carnesville, Jeff and Kathy McCollum of Daytona Beach, Florida and Gary McCollum of Toccoa; three grandchildren, Nicole, Ash and Lindsey; two sisters, Barbara Wagner of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Dot Pyron of Montgomery, Alabama.

Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Stephens Memorial Gardens.
