Mary Ann Tompkins

Mrs. Mary Ann Tompkins, age 82, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Southern Pines.  Mrs. Tompkins was born in Westminster, SC to the late Joe and Bess Johns Ballenger.  She was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tompkins was preceded in death by her first husband, Troy Hoxit, Jr. and second husband, Henry Edison Tompkins.

Mrs. Tompkins is survived by her children, Terri Hoxit of Commerce and Mike Hoxit of Seneca, SC; brothers, Bobby Ballenger and Danny Ballenger both of SC; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Westminster, SC with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 7 PM.
