Clarence Jr. Mundy

Clarence Jr. Mundy, age 85, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years, Doris Cochling Mundy; son, Ray Mundy; parents, Clarence and Blanche Mundy; brother, Donald Mundy.  Mr. Mundy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Van and Cathy Mundy, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Matthew and Brittany Mundy, Dawsonville, GA, Melissa and Wes DuBose, Suwanee, GA, Jessica Mundy and husband, Chase Matthews, Monroe, GA, Megan and Jason Fonger, Cumming, GA, Luke Mundy, Dahlonega, GA, Joseph Mundy, Lawrenceville, GA; great grandchildren, James DuBose, Maddox DuBose, Townes Mundy, Coulter Mundy; three sisters, Sara and Guy Whitmire, Germantown, TN, Willie and Bobby Loudermilk, Cumming, GA, Opal Mundy Walls, Cumming, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Mundy was born February 25, 1934 in Cumming, GA.  He graduated from Cumming High School, Class of 1951.  Mr. Mundy retired from Bailey Cabinet Company as a shop supervisor after thirty years of service.  He was a member of Covenant Church of Christ, Buford, GA.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Robinson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Sunday, September 8^th at the funeral home.
