Barbara Ann McCowan Kissire

Barbara Ann McCowan Kissire, age 74, of Sparta, GA passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin W. Kissire; parents, Henry C. “Buddy” McCowan and Ara V. Duncan McCowan; sister, Elizabeth Ann McCowan.  She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Wayne Kissire, Sparta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Shana and Randy Hogan, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Keelie Hogan Collins and husband, Ben, Suwanee, GA, Anslie Hogan, Buford, GA, Hayes Hogan, Buford, GA, Jacob Kissire, Braselton, GA, Madison Kissire, Commerce, GA, Joseph Kissire, Commerce, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Della and Richard Hoch, Ball Ground, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Haven and Betty McCowan, Covington, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Montine and Wally Friesen, Morrilton, AR; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Kissire was born November 2, 1944 in Bee Branch, AR.  She was a 1963 graduate of Nemo Vista High School, Centre Ridge, AR.  Mrs. Kissire was retired from Sears Distribution Center in Tucker, GA.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of  Flanigan Funeral Home, with Gene Cloer officiating.  The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4^th and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 5^th at the funeral home.
