Forrest Milton Peeples

Mr. Forrest Milton Peeples, age 94 of Akins Bridge Road, Eastanollee passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at his residence.

A son of the late S.P. Peeples, Sr. and Reeda Caudell Peeples, he was born August 8, 1925 in Canon, Georgia having lived most of his life in Franklin County.  He was a past employee of R.G. LeTourneau/WABCO and a cattle farmer.  He attended Allens United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Williams Peeples, son-in-law, Tommy Kittle, sister, Helen Peeples Whitworth, two brothers, S.P. Peeples, Jr and Kenneth Peeples and brother-in-law, Dennis Whitworth.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Kittle and Judy Ansley both of Athens, Georgia; grandchildren, Chad and Jeri Bellamy, Leigh Anne and Chris Holden, Katie Ansley and Laura and Calvin Allison; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Quinton Peeples of Toccoa; sisters-in-law, Sara Jean Peeples of Athens and Faye Peeples of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 5, 2019, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Elwin Northcutt, Bill Kane, Larry Ansley, Chris Holden, Jim Bellamy, Gary Patton, Charles Caudell and Wayne Caudell.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allens United Methodist Church Youth Group, 15655 Georgia Highway 106, Martin, Georgia 30557 in memory of Mr. Forrest Milton Peeples.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Forrest Milton Peeples.
