Debbie Jordan Haldeman, age 66, of Dacula, GA passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her father, Myron Jordan. She is survived by her daughters, Mitsy Mize and husband, Millard Mize, Jr., Dacula, GA and Kimberly Bridges and husband, Danny Bridges, Andersonville, Tennessee; mother, Ann Thrasher Jordan, Buford, GA; brother and sister-in-law, David and Kristy Jordan, Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Tori and Mike Simpson, Jordan and Lexi Fox, Rylee Bridges and Justin Bridges; uncles and aunt, Loyd Thrasher, Buford, GA and Lamar and Judy Jordan, Oakwood, GA; aunts, Katherine Addis, Norcross, GA and Marie Jarrard; and several cousins. Ms. Haldeman was born October 9, 1952 in Buford, GA.
She was a 1970 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA and also Northeast Georgia Police Academy in Athens, GA. Ms. Haldeman began her professional career with the City of Lawrenceville Police Department in Lawrenceville, GA in 1983, was also head of Security with Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA, and had worked for the Barrow County Sheriff’s Department in Winder, GA. She then retired as a Lieutenant from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department in Cumming, GA after seventeen years of service.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Mark Flowers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Wednesday, September 4th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
